Dry Mixed Muddy

Before you ride, run or hike Silver Comet Trail

Is the whole route dry and open?

No opening status is verified here. This is a model estimate; local puddles, damage and closures may differ. 1953 calculated segments across 25 weather cells. Follow land-manager notices.

When will this route dry?

A current surface score does not establish a drying time. Check the rainfall observation time, refresh stale inputs and review local reports before leaving.

Route and access notes

A paved cycling corridor west from the Mavell Road area in Smyrna through Cobb, Paulding and Polk counties to the Georgia–Alabama border. The Chief Ladiga Trail beyond the state line is a separate route.

Planning this route

The pinned source measures 97.9 km, close to the county's 61.5-mile listing, and reaches the listed eastern trailhead and state-line terminus. All five source analysis parts are retained, including short side branches; these are not five official stages. Arrange access points and a return journey separately.

Access and source limitations

Paulding County describes a shared, non-motorized trail. Respect walkers, other users and posted crossing or diversion notices. Access tags are unspecified or complex across about 97.1 km, and 2.3 km lacks surface tags; the public trail listing is supporting evidence, not a live guarantee that every section is open.
